It’s been months since the election. Many things have transpired after, and many things have remained the same. May this post offer some light…

WHAT AN ELECTION CAN TEACH US… The world reflects who and what we are as human beings. Every person, family, community, and society makes up a nation and the environment we live in. One challenge a nation faces is an election. It can either bring out the best and worse in people. Let the election serve as a TEACHING experience than a disastrous or victimization experience.

Let it remind a citizen of:

1. That election is a CALL for CREATION and not destruction.

2. That election is a PROCESS requiring time, PATIENCE, and RESPECT to its unfolding.

3. That the nation’s future is not solely dependent on a specific/elected party but on what and how citizens work TOGETHER and HELP each other.

4. That the candidates do not define the people but people’s CONSCIOUS/ UNCONSCIOUS ACTIONS towards each other especially after an election.

5. That our differences can be used to our advantage of INSPIRING one another by SHARING one’s gifts, talents, ideas, and wisdom to better a nation.

6. That UNITY is the key to BUILD a better nation and not division that leads to further separation.
