UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING OUR NEGATIVE REACTIONS
Do these statements sound familiar?
“You hurt me. ”
“I’m offended by what she said.”
“He made me suffer.”
“Those people are challenging.”
“The world is so unfair.”
“My life is hopeless.”
Most of us must have said these as a reaction to certain people’s behaviors, situations, incidents, and to ourselves. We react every day to many stimuli, and they vary. Every kind of reaction is unique. Why is it so?
Our reactions are from our projections.
Projections are seeing situations in life, people, and the world from our inner beliefs.
Beliefs are the repetitive thoughts we all think about that we consider our truth. We believe more when we see and feel something physical brought by the constant focus of our attention and energy, called our experiences. One of our experiences is through our emotions, where most of our reactions come.
Emotions are energy in motion and indicators of our positive and negative thinking.
That said, we create every experience. It starts with the quality of our thoughts that are not seen and felt yet produced by the mind.
