Learning to Look Through and Beyond

“I feel depressed as my life is a mess and not turning out as planned.”

“I am frustrated; I always end up with the wrong person.”

“I feel such a loser for having no direction in my career.”

“I feel worthless for having no money.”

Getting stuck in challenging situations and relationships is part of living.

There are inevitable and automatic solutions and steps to unresolved problems and challenges.

However, the worst part is the struggle to manage emotions as it affects the well-being, beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions.

How can one find ease in such life challenges, then?

One can look through and beyond the surface and delve deeper by allowing oneself to pause, observe, and ask questions.

Having a pause is to breathe, relax, and detach oneself from being consumed by emotions, instead allowing oneself to release them.

Observing is about being still and not judging the events happening in life, avoiding assumptions and conclusions contributing to the negative narrative one keeps telling oneself and the heaviness one feels.
