QUESTIONS TO ASK IN SETTING GOALS

“I am already past my prime years and feel I have not done something great yet.”
“What am I going to do now that I am retired?”
“Where is my relationship with my partner heading to?”
“How can I be like my idol when I do not have the means?”

Everyone must have said the statements above to themselves in confusing times.

Setting goals is one response to acting on one’s desires. It’s carving a path or creating a direction where one wants to go, what one wants to experience, and who one wants to be.

The fulfillment of a goal is about recognizing where one is at, knowing, gathering the resources, and having the means to get to where one wants.

Every day, everyone is fulfilling a goal, either consciously or unconsciously.

Going to and arriving at a planned destination are examples of conscious goals. Showing up for work is another example.
Unconscious goals were once conscious goals that became habits and automatic because of the repetitive fulfillment of those before. Driving is one good example of an unconscious goal as the driver already knows what he needs to do to be able to drive(goal): learn how to do it, get the license, get a car, know how to…
