I ENVY THEREFORE I HATE

Inspired by personal experience and coaching sessions with clients, here are some thoughts to ponder on envy where it’s usually confused with hatred. Envy stems from a lack of self-love, self-awareness of our true selves, and from the beliefs we are incomplete and always lacking in something.

Our egos feel threatened by witnessing others doing and having what we want to do and have for ourselves. Then it worsens by comparing ourselves to them.

The ego operates on fear. It thrives on hating and judging which are also its defensive ways to feel superior over the other.

You can use envy as a MOTIVATION to challenge and INSPIRE yourself to do what others can do and have instead of passing on judgment and hatred and being consumed by the ego.

TURN IT AROUND. Use it to WORK and SERVE you rather than destroy you and your relationships.

Look at it as a desire calling your attention to create or as an opportunity.

Be inspired not expired.

Consider pausing and reflecting before jumping to judgment.

Attract happiness and good things by being happy for others. 😊
