Racism is just one challenge we face since immemorial. This is an ongoing issue that will keep resurfacing until we change our approach to it. We haven’t fully recovered from the black lives matter and here we are, into Asian hate crimes. The photo above is a classmate of mine in grad school and just one of the many Asians who got violently attacked. The recent events on Asian beatings and killings are summoning, and inviting all of us AGAIN to:
- DECIDE and COMMIT that WE are all ONE.
- FORGET our DIFFERENCES and labels as we all belong to ONE RACE, HUMANITY.
- Realize that WE are the ANSWER to the problems and divisions we all have created.
- STOP the BLAME as it’s always been a game of shame. It’s no longer an option, but only a disillusion.
- STOP the HATE and MEDITATE.
- Be RESPONSIBLE for our actions.
- Be MINDFUL of our INTENTIONS.
- OPEN our HEARTS more for ONENESS,COMPASSION and KINDNESS.
- REMEMBER that WE HAVE another CHOICE that we keep forgetting, and that is LOVE.
- WAKE UP, ENCOURAGE, EMPOWER, and don’t GIVE UP on each other.
- Realize that giving and sharing love for others starts with loving oneself first/SELF-LOVE… as racism starts with self loathing/inferiority hiding in…
