ELECTION
What Election Can Teach Us
The world reflects who and what we are as human beings. Every person, family, community, and society makes up a nation and the environment. One challenge a nation faces is an election. It can either bring out the best or the worst in people. Let the election serve as a TEACHING experience rather than a disastrous or victimization experience.
Let it remind a citizen of the following:
1. That election is a CALL for CREATION and not destruction.
2. That election is a PROCESS that requires time, PATIENCE, and RESPECT to unfold
3. The nation’s future is independent of a specific/elected party, but on what and how citizens work TOGETHER and HELP each other.
4. That the candidates do not define the people but people’s CONSCIOUS/ UNCONSCIOUS ACTIONS towards each other, especially after an election.
5. Our differences can be used to our advantage of INSPIRING one another by SHARING one’s gifts, talents, ideas, and wisdom to better a nation.
6. UNITY is the key to BUILDING a better nation and not to division that leads to further separation.
7. It’s an invitation to CREATE more opportunities to better attitudes and behaviors to STRENGTHEN our RELATIONSHIPS with each other.
8. We have a CHOICE to change our perspectives to see and go through and thrive in challenging times.
9. WE ARE THE CHANGE we all yearn for, the BRINGERS OF LIGHT, TEACHERS OF THE CONFUSED…
